Recent Events: Ending the Patterns and Cycles

I have been attempting almost every day to sit down and write a blog to share with you all since the news of Osama Bin Laden’s death. The energy of the universe and the essence flowing within me would not let me do this so soon after and now I know why. Have you noticed that when you are aware of unpleasant emotions coming up for you, that your response is different if you wait before you respond? This was the case for as I am writing this, I feel a sense of calm, a sense of peace about all that has been, all that is and all that will be because I am understanding everything from the place of the heart.

What we are doing here, as spiritual beings having a human experience, is attempting to move deeper and deeper into the vibration of unconditional love by actually FEELING what we know through the vehicle of our human bodies (which includes our emotions). If something happens around us, such as the news of Osama Bin Laden’s death, and emotions are stirring as a result, the emotions are helping you to question some things.

1. What emotions are you feeling?
2. Why are you feeling them?

Your emotions are trigger points for you to see if what you are feeling about is in alignment with you or if it is not. If it is, confirm it and bring it ever more fully into your life. If it not, then you have an opportunity to change around what you believe, what you think you know, and how you are going to choose to act or not act as a result. When I first heard the news I mentioned above, I was frustrated that again those in power are acting with a pattern that has been consistent throughout government: we have someone we consider an enemy for whatever reason we attach to that person, and because of this reason we justify our action to cause the destruction of this enemy and their close kin. I was frustrated with that pattern as I saw it still existing in the moment Obama gave the news…and then I moved into even more frustration mixed with sadness that there was rejoicing in his death. To me, this was a repetition and enhancement of every pain ever felt at the loss of a loved one or terrorism of any kind. I find no pleasure, no excitement in death, torture or any means of harm to a human being or any being for that matter, regardless of whatever crime he has been known to have committed. We cannot find peace if we choose to have war…we cannot cease killing through killing, the same pattern will continue but with a different name and a different reason.

We are here, right now, on this 3D planet Earth to bring love, to anchor unconditional love here and now. In order to do this, we need to know that those we consider our enemies are a part of us. There is no separation, and when we can come to fully feel and know this, then there will be no such thing as hate or killing.

Enemy = in a me.

When we call someone an “enemy,” we are calling ourselves to look within. What is it within us that we do not like that we are projecting onto this person? Is there something there, perhaps a belief, an emotion that is not pleasant ? Could it be that we are seeing this person as separate from us and not wanting to extend love? I don’t need to go into any detail in regards to all of the spiritual masters and peace keepers/advocates mentioned the importance of the end of violence and love as the answer. (Martin Luther King Jr, Gandhi, Jesus to name a few). Isn’t it ironic that these few were “killed” because of their message of peace and love? What message did that give us then? But more importantly, what does that say to us now?

What do you decide to choose now? How do you see your world moving forward? And how do you intend to be a part of what you see, what role will you be playing?

I recall going to New York for a peace march when this war started…and I purchased a bumper sticker with a saying on it that has stuck with me. The saying is, “Why do we kill people who kill people to show that killing people is wrong?” This is a cycle, a vicious pattern that cannot end by the same means that started it. Love truly is the answer…and it is time that we have the individual and collective choice to move forward in this. To do this, we need to not place judgment on those that bring to light such patterns we may have agreed to follow or to believe in the past. The people that bring these things to our awareness do so because we can choose to continue in that way or change if we feel it is no longer in alignment with who we feel we are. Therefore, we can be in gratitude for this chance to move forward in love.

I will be posting a blog soon about what our role is and what we can be focusing on through this time of many transitions…things that we consider to be “dark” will be coming into the light more and more as we move forward through this year and beyond. The reason for this is so that we can choose how we want to continue as individuals and as a collective, to shine the light ever stronger.

Here we have another opportunity to bring this into full manifestation: bringing the light to the world that we are all connected, that we are all one, that we are all brothers and sisters here to experience all of the human emotions to help us love deeper, both ourselves and each other.
