Ghandi was a man whom many loved, adored, and cherished. He stood for all the things that are so inherent within the soul of mankind; love, peace, truth, justice. These things are a threat to people in power, at least they believe them as a threat, because they feel that their control over people will not be as strong. Even in times of unfair treatment and harsh action, Ghandi still believed in peaceful ways of resolving the issues that confronted him, his followers, and his people. There are so many quotes I could place here however I’d recommend watching the movie – it is full of great quotes, inspirational, full of insight, that will leave you thinking long after the movie has ended.
